Senior Counsel Michael Goldstein will join the faculty of Fordham Law School’s Corporate Law Center as an Adjunct Professor during the Fall 2024 semester. His Law and Business of Insurance class will provide an introduction to the landscape, i.e., the scope, breadth, and structural components of the insurance industry in the 21st Century economy. It will cover the basic legal principles and business practices governing property and casualty insurance, including insurance contracts and policy interpretation by the courts, as well as risk management, reinsurance, and the insurance regulatory framework. Students will gain a foundational understanding of how property and casualty insurance operates within the legal, financial, and social structures of our economy and society and will be exposed to the myriad career opportunities in the insurance and risk management business environment.

Students will receive two credits. The school is located at 150 West 62nd Street in New York City.
