Pro Bono Program
MCWG attorneys work with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) and the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA), and serve as pro bono counsel for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
NYLAG is a not-for-profit organization that provides free legal services to low income New Yorkers for many different types of matters, including family/matrimonial disputes, wrongful evictions, criminal law issues, guardianship proceedings, bankruptcy cases, and contract and employment disputes.
VLA is a legal aid organization that provides legal advice to artists and not-for-profit entities. MCWG attorneys have assisted both organizations in providing referrals for a variety of legal services.
Mound Cotton attorneys have also worked on a number of pro bono projects for Lincoln Center, New York City’s preeminent performing arts venue, hosting 11 resident arts organizations, including the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Ballet.
