The New York-based law firm of Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass LLP announced today that Dustin DuBose will be joining the firm as Resident Partner in its new Houston, Texas office.
Dustin, a seasoned litigator and advisor, has represented domestic and international insurers in first-party and third-party coverage disputes nationally. He consults with domestic and international insurers regarding coverage for multimillion-dollar claims and the claims-handling process, primarily in the energy, commercial property, and builders’ risk sectors. Dustin has handled litigation, arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations on behalf of insurers involving property damage and business interruption claims, construction claims, liability, and bad-faith claims.
Dustin’s diverse background, courtroom experience, and firsthand understanding of how insurance companies operate have led to favorable resolutions of coverage disputes on behalf of his clients. Dustin is admitted to the state courts of Texas, Florida, and Mississippi, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Texas, the Northern District of Florida, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dustin to Mound Cotton. Our new Houston office, highlighted by Dustin’s wealth of experience and expertise, will complement and enhance the firm’s ability to serve the varied needs of our clients,” said Mound Cotton Partner Philip Silverberg.
