Louise Denegre
Louise Denegre is an associate at Mound Cotton. She has more than thirty-five years of insurance law experience as in-house counsel for the insurance industry, with expertise in both life and disability insurance. She counsels on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters which impact the development, approval, administration, and marketing of group and individual life and disability insurance products. She has provided comment and advice to state regulators on retained asset accounts, represented major insurers in significant bankruptcy matters, and provided critical legal support on the development and approval of innovative insurance products.
Ms. Denegre was most recently Head, Legal Counsel, and Vice President at elipsLife Insurance Company, where she was solely responsible for all aspects of legal support. Prior to her tenure at elipsLife, she was Legal Counsel and Vice President at Swiss Reinsurance Company, Assistant General Counsel at MetLife, and Counsel and Vice President at Prudential Insurance Company.
Ms. Denegre is a graduate of University of Connecticut School of Law and Mount Holyoke College.
