William D. Wilson

 

Mr. Wilson heads the firm’s New Jersey office and oversees the Florida office. Currently, he spends most of his time focused on his New Jersey/New York and Florida practices, and also handles matters in Pennsylvania and Texas. Mr. Wilson has over thirty years of experience in complex insurance matters, focusing on the handling of first-party and third-party insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes. In addition, he regularly handles commercial contract disputes, as well as products liability, employer liability, premises liability, and general tort claims. He has litigated cases in state and federal courts throughout the U.S. and is a mediator with the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris County, Mediation Equity Panel.

Mr. Wilson has authored articles and lectured on a number of insurance and general litigation topics. He is a co-author of New Jersey Insurance Coverage Litigation – 2021: A Practitioner’s Guide, which is published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, a division of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Mr. Wilson is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Seton Hall University School of Law, where he taught New York Practice.

Mr. Wilson is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology, magna cum laude, and St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the St. John’s Law Review. Mr. Wilson has an undergraduate degree in computer science and worked as a tool and die maker for several years before college.
