Wendy Shepps is Of Counsel to Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass LLP. She has extensive experience as a “lawyer’s lawyer”, defending attorney professional liability cases for attorneys ranging from solo practitioners to major international law firms. She regularly advises and represents attorneys with practices covering diverse areas of the law, such as, matrimonial, general liability, real estate, contracts products liability and estate, and trust law. Additionally, she regularly represents attorneys in connection with charges brought by the Professional Board. She seeks to achieve early resolution of claims without the necessity and expense of protracted hearings, however, when the Board seeks significant sanctions, including suspension or revocation, Ms. Shepps has the litigation skills and knowledge to defend her clients aggressively in these administrative proceedings.
Ms. Shepps also provides legal representation to other professionals such as real estate brokers, insurance brokers and accountants in all phases of litigation. She is also experienced in all phases of general liability litigation and has defended a major New York transportation company. She also defends product liability and construction litigation.
She is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and Binghamton University.
