Renée M. Peters
Renée Peters joined Mound Cotton in 2021. Her practice focuses on the defense of property insurers in complex bad faith litigation involving commercial policies, including multi-layer insurance programs and contractual claims in excess of $100 million. Her litigation experience includes conducting and defending depositions, participating in all other aspects of discovery and motion practice, engaging in alternative dispute resolution, serving as second-chair in six-month jury trial and arbitration, drafting appellate briefs, and assisting with preparation for oral argument before the California Court of Appeal and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Renée received her J.D., summa cum laude, from University of San Diego, and her B.A., Political Science and Business Emphasis, from University of California, Los Angeles (honors).
