Ellen G. Margolis is a partner at Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass. She has over 30 years of litigation experience, and has litigated in state and federal courts throughout the United States, including the United States Supreme Court. She represents insurance carriers in complex third party insurance coverage and defense matters, including cases involving coverage for environmental damage, toxic tort bodily injuries, construction defects, pharmaceuticals and construction accidents. Her practice also includes general commercial and business litigation, and she has represented corporate clients in bankruptcy proceedings, securities matters, and contract disputes. She has conducted arbitrations, hearings, trials, and appeals.
Ms. Margolis frequently lectures on third party coverage issues, such as allocation, number of occurrences and additional insured disputes. She is National Coordinating Counsel for a company involved in asbestos cases in state and federal courts nationwide.
