Ms. Gaisford began her career in claims handling property and casualty claims and evaluating each for coverage. She then went into the practice of law and began handling coverage issues in the area of construction defect and all aspects general liability and commercial cases including premises liability, product liability, and common carrier liability including the transportation of handicapped people.
Ms Gaisford successfully tried and arbitrated cases involving premises and general liability. She then moved her practice exclusively to insurance coverage where she practiced for over 10 years handling coverage matters providing coverage opinions on cases involving professional liability, general liability, construction defects and defending bad faith suits against insurance companies. Ms. Gaisford then went back to handling complex and high exposure general liability and construction cases from inception to resolution.
Ms. Gaisford, based in Los Angeles, has resumed the practice of insurance coverage by joining Mound, Cotton, Wollan & Greengrass.
