Christina G. Jackson joined Mound Cotton as an associate in 2019.

Ms. Jackson works with domestic and international insurers in first-party and third-party coverage disputes nationally. She assists and consults with domestic and international insurance markets regarding coverage for multimillion-dollar claims and the claims-handling process, primarily in the energy (petrochemical and power generation), commercial property, and builder’s risk sectors. She assists with litigation, arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations on behalf of insurers involving property damage and business interruption claims, construction claims, liability, and bad faith/statutory claims-handling violations.

Ms. Jackson is a 2018 graduate of The University of Houston Law Center. She received her B.S. in Finance from Auburn University in 2015. During law school, Ms. Jackson worked in the UH Transactional Clinic, assisting local Houston businesses in various legal matters. She also served as a Supreme Court Justice of the UH Student Government Association, where she presided over First Amendment cases, election violations and many other disputes.
