Ori Shafirstein

Ori Shafirstein joined Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass as an associate in late 2019.

Ori is a graduate of Brandeis University, magna cum laude, and the George Washington University Law School, with honors. While in law school, Ori was a member of the Moot Court Board and interned with various government offices and agencies, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

Before joining Mound Cotton, Ori practiced insurance coverage litigation, representing insurance carriers in state and federal actions based on commercial and personal-lines insurance policies. In this role, Ori actively handled, and is experienced in, all major phases of commercial litigation, including pleadings, paper discovery, court conferences and appearances, depositions, settlement negotiations, motion practice, entry of judgments, and appeals. Ori is also experienced in drafting coverage opinions for clients.

A native of Israel, Ori is fluent in Hebrew.
