Philip Pizzuto is a Senior Attorney in the New York office.  Mr Pizzuto has over thirteen years of experience in all aspects of civil tort litigation, concentrating in toxic tort, municipal liability, medical malpractice, highway design, maritime and premises liability cases.  He has extensive litigation and trial experience in both state and federal courts.  Mr. Pizzuto has tried cases in all New York City venues and obtained numerous favorable jury verdicts.  In addition, Mr. Pizzuto has also worked as an instructor on trial advocacy skills within the New York City Law Department and as a guest lecturer at the Trial Advocacy Program at Fordham University School of Law.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Pizzuto was first-chair trial attorney for The Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law firm, where he concentrated on medical malpractice cases and The New York City Law Department, Special Litigation Unit, where he defended the City's highest exposure tort claims, including one of the nation's largest lead-paint poisoning trials and a catastrophic injury case stemming from the 2003 Staten Island Ferry crash.

Mr. Pizzuto is licensed to practice law before the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars, and is fluent in Italian.  He is a graduate of The City University of New York and Temple University School of Law.

Jon Quint has more than twenty-eight years of litigation and transactional experience. Mr. Quint is experienced in the areas of trusts and estates, real estate, bankruptcy, corporations, tort and commercial litigation, and criminal law.  Mr. Quint has represented banks in commercial and residential mortgage transactions and has handled numerous commercial transactions for the sale of business entities and their assets.  Mr. Quint has handled matters for numerous labor organizations, including litigation, arbitration, and National Labor Relations Board proceedings as well as ERISA and related matters. He has also advised unions on all facets of their operations, including pensions and campaign contributions, and has served as a trustee of local unions. Mr. Quint is experienced in ERISA and related matters and in the areas of trusts and estates, real estate, bankruptcy, corporations, tort and commercial litigation, and criminal law. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers' Association, where he serves on the Labor Relations and Employment Law Committee.

Mr. Quint is a graduate of Brandeis University and New York University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Review of Law and Social Change.

Renee M. Plessner has over twenty years of experience in various aspects of civil litigation, including general commercial, tort, insurance, and reinsurance litigation and arbitration, involving, among other areas, property damage, defense and subrogation, environmental first- and third-party claims, fraud, jeweler's block and fine art claims. In addition, she has had substantial experience in reinsurance arbitration and other reinsurance-related matters, as well as insurance insolvency and bankruptcy. Ms. Plessner has litigated in numerous state and federal courts, as well as appellate courts in various states. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar, and is fluent in French.

Ms. Plessner is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University School of Law.

Aaron F. Fishbein has over twenty-three years of litigation experience. Since 1990, a large part of his work has concerned insurance coverage issues, including first- and third-party toxic tort and environmental coverage litigation. He has also defended companies in product liability and related actions, including a large refrigerated warehouse and a manufacturer of power tools. A former Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, New York, Mr. Fishbein is also experienced in criminal law, including RICO, and constitutional law. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fishbein was with O'Melveny & Myers and Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, Alexander & Ferdon. He has contributed to New York Insurance Law, published by Matthew Bender (1992).

Mr. Fishbein is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and the University of Chicago Law School.
