Michael R. Koblenz was quoted in The New York Times article "Buyers in East Hills Enticed by Its Park" on Sunday, June 16, 2011. Mr. Koblenz, who is the Mayor of the Village of East Hills, discussed the impact of building a neighborhood park on real estate sales. In Newsday, it was announced that the Village of East Hills approved a new zoning district to allow Bethpage-based Steel Equities to move forward with plans to develop offices.  "It's a win-win for the village and the school district," Koblenz said.
