An Evening Dedicated to Networking for Women, June 2009

On Thursday, June 25th, the women lawyers of Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass hosted “An Evening Dedicated to Networking for Women” at the Friars Club in New York City. More than fifty women executives from various industries attended the event. The panel, led by MCWG attorneys Emilie Bakal-Caplan and Bernadette Kirwin, included featured speakers Mary Huwaldt, Deputy General Counsel at Armstrong World Industries; H. Elizabeth Mitchell, President and CEO of Platinum Underwriters Reinsurance Inc.; Pamela J. Newman, President and CEO of The Newman Team, Aon Corporation; Lynnsey Perrin- Hee, President of Perrin Conferences; and Lesley F. Rosenthal, Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The panel discussed networking strategies, overcoming career obstacles, and work/home life balance.
