Jonathan Gross

 

Jonathan Gross has concentrated his practice for 30 years in insurance coverage matters and insurance bad faith defense. He served as a regional and nationwide troubleshooter for several national carriers and worked on claims and cases involving all aspects of commercial and personal lines first-party property claims. He has extensive experience with time element coverages, builder’s risk claims, cyber coverage losses, boiler and machinery claims, and mining claims, as well as defending third-party liability coverage cases and bad faith claims. He also defends major corporations in employment litigation, including discrimination, wrongful termination and retaliation claims.

Jonathan has assisted with claims in most western states and has litigated coverage and bad faith cases in California, Washington, Texas, West Virginia, Alaska, Utah, Oregon, Arizona, Idaho, and Nevada. His experience includes a wide range of claim resolution procedures ranging from direct negotiations, mediation and appraisal to trials and appeals.

Jonathan has been a leader in California’s mediation and alternative dispute resolution community for over 20 years. He was Chairman of the California State Bar’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and has mediated hundreds of cases and often trains mediators.
