Kenna, David W.

David W. Kenna practices in the areas of reinsurance and insurance law, including coverage disputes, bad-faith claims, and disputes between and among ceding companies and reinsurers, as well as commodities and securities litigation and arbitration. Mr. Kenna has tried cases in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey and argued before the Appellate Division, First Department and the Second Circuit. In addition, Mr. Kenna has litigated insurance, reinsurance, and commodities and securities actions in California, Iowa, and Massachusetts. He has also arbitrated disputes before the Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange and the NASD. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Kenna is a graduate of Hofstra University (B.A.) and Fordham University School of Law (J.D.). Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kenna was Vice President of BMT Commodity Corp., where he was a trader specializing in sales of jute goods for use by various commodities industries, including coffee, cotton, sugar, and tobacco.
