Michael L. Calder is an associate with Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass.

Mr. Calder joined the firm in 2005. He is a graduate of Georgia State University (Distinguished Military Graduate) and Seton Hall University School of Law (magna cum laude, Order of the Coif).

Mr. Calder's practice focuses on first-party property insurance coverage matters, third-party defense, including construction claims, labor law, product liability, environmental and toxic torts, including chemical and heavy metal exposures, and lead poisoning cases.  Mr. Calder is also involved in the direct representation of pharmaceutical and general industry companies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Calder served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Field Artillery, and then worked in the insurance industry for 15 years as a claims manager and claims specialist. He holds both the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations and he has served as a member of the Committee on Association Insurance Programs for the New York State Bar Association since 2006.

Mr. Calder is admitted to the New York bar and to the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
