He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Queens College, CUNY, where he was a member of the Business and Liberal Arts Honors Program.  He graduated from St. John's University School of Law, where he was a staff member for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and a member of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute National Trial Team.

Mr. Soler's practice includes the representation of U.S. Department of Defense contractors and their insurers in connection with claims filed under the Defense Base Act extension of the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act on behalf of civilian and foreign national employees working overseas pursuant to U.S. government contracts.  Mr. Soler also counsels clients on contractual and coverage matters stemming from the Defense Base Act.

Mr. Soler's practice also concentrates on the handling of "war-risk" claims filed under the War Hazard Compensation Act on behalf of deceased, injured and detained civilians exposed to combat conditions in the Middle East and the procurement of congressional funds appropriated for Defense Base Act benefits paid by employers and insurers.

Mr. Soler also handles claims involving property damage, catastrophic injury and other personal injury matters.

Mr. Soler is admitted to the New York bar and to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.  He is also a member of the Joint Department of Labor Bar Association and its Legislative Committee.
