Vanessa M. Bakert received her B.A. from Johns Hopkins and her J.D. from New York Law School, where she was Managing Editor of the Journal of International & Comparative Law and a Teaching Fellow. Before joining the firm, she worked at Melito & Adolfsen, P.C., concentrating in insurance coverage disputes involving environmental, toxic tort, and other complex claims. She also served as a summer intern with the Consumer Affairs Prosecution Section of the New Jersey Attorney General's Office. Ms. Bakert is admitted to the New Jersey and New York bars and is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers' Association.
