Scott J. Sheldon is a graduate with high honors of Rutgers Law School,where he was Managing Editor of the law review, and is a graduate of Rutgers University. He has twenty-five years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including as a law firm litigation partner, a Fortune 500 in-house senior litigation counsel, and a law school adjunct professor. His practice has included arbitrations, trials, and appeals in reinsurance and insurance coverage matters, as well as in General commercial, antitrust, class action, intellectual property, and securities cases, in courts and tribunals across the United States. Before joining the firm, Mr. Sheldon served as Senior Litigation Counsel and Chief Antitrust Counsel to Automatic Data Processing, Inc., and prior to that as a litigation partner at Carpenter Bennett & Morrissey in Newark, NJ, with an emphasis on insurance coverage and reinsurance litigation. He is a member of the New Jersey bar.
